Summary: In order to evaluate Environmental Bioethics as a solid waste management tool in marble and granite works in the south region of the Espírito Santo State - in favor of Environmental and Business Sustainability - an exploratory case study was carried out, through interviews with the employees of the ornamental stones sector. The research was divided into four stages: 1- Evaluation of the state of the art regarding Environmental Bioethics in Solid Waste Management, through bibliometric analysis; 2- Selection of Companies, identification and analysis of the procedures adopted in the solid waste management process and evaluation of the questionnaire to be applied; 3- Case study on the profile of selected companies, their performance, produced waste, management system, among others, through the application of questionnaires; 4- Evaluate the company's waste management system. The company's vision, obtained through the analysis of its employees, about environmental sustainability process, has guaranteed a minimum of 89% in EMGR01 and a maximum of 96% in EMGR03 of organizational responsibility to maintain the environmental balance, through the development of preventive and corrective actions of damages to the environment. The companies should have an integrated view of their importance for environmental preservation. However it was recorded as business actions are unimportant - only 11% of the answers - to maintain an environmental quality. Thus, environmental bioethics supports a change of business and personal paradigm, which fosters an integral ideology of sustainability. An example is the company EMG01 EMG01 which has sought full participation in maintaining the quality of the environment. Environmental Bioethics facilitates the implementation of actions to better dispose of solid residues of Ornamental Stones, actively and constantly promoting environmental (re) education through training and intervention projects developed with emphasis on the ethical issues that permeate how attitudes make the individual to reflect their social role in the face of environmental sustainability in the company
